The weather played the most important role during the first free practice runs. The slippery track made it especially hard for the rear-wheel driven division 2 cars. There were also some first casualties - Even Hvaal and Bogdan Ludwiczak having had to be towed out of the track after colliding with the barriers. The damage did not look serious though, so one should expect them to resume later on during the day.
