Andreas Eriksson won the competition in division 1 at the 9 round of the 2009 ERC in Poland. The all-Swedish podium was completed by Michael Jernberg and Kenneth Hansen. Guino Kenis won division 2, and the newly crowned European Champion, Mats Lysen, proved his worth winning division 1A.

This concludes a successful event in Slomczyn. The last round of the ERC will take place in Sosnova, CZ, where the title in division 1 will be set. It is most likely that Michael Jernberg will grab it, as the Swede currently leads the championship by 5 points ahead from Sverre Isachsen. Kenneth Hansen's title chances are now purely mathematical with the Swede being 16 points adrift of Jernberg.
